San Diego and Imperial counties have 15 Caltrans listings, from guardrail to a bridge deck repair
Six construction contracts and nine service contracts open between Nov. 3 and Dec. 16. Most list a General Engineering license; guardrail and landscape work dominate the service side.
San Diego and Imperial counties, which make up Caltrans District 11, had 15 listings on Caltrans' Contracts Out for Bid page on Oct. 31, 2026, more than any other district. Bid openings run from Nov. 3 to Dec. 16.
The list splits into two groups. Construction contracts carry numbers in the form 11-430874. Service and maintenance contracts, such as guardrail services or landscape maintenance, carry shorter numbers such as 11A4441. Two listings placed here by county, HVAC installation (32A0732) and geotechnical drilling (59A1414), carry other prefixes. CCOP lists the counties for each; this story uses the first county named. Several service contracts cover both counties, and one, geotechnical drilling, covers Southern California generally.
